I have met lots of beautiful women who think negatively about the way they look and I am often left puzzled and saddened by their revelations. The funny thing is we all have different perceptions of what beauty should be and my idea of beauty is probably different to yours. Personally beauty is far beyond skin deep. She is not always the prettiest, thinnest and smartest but being confident makes her so much more attractive and interesting. Her presence is real, natural and powerful.

1 – MAKE EVERY MORNING A PAMPERING RITUAL Take pride of your appearance by doing something lovely for yourself every morning. Wake up earlier than usual to make sure you get plenty of time for some luxurious self-care. It could be styling your hair or painting your nails. Pay attention to your skincare and bath or shower with gorgeous essential oils. Make-up is a clever tool as it helps you exude the best version of yourself. Smother yourself with beautiful scented body cream and always wear your favourite perfume.
2 – DRESS FOR CONFIDENCE If you don’t love it, don’t wear it, it is that simple. It is so important that you feel good and comfortable in what you are wearing. Ditch the clothes that make you feel rubbish on how you look or emphasize any part of your body that you don’t like. 3 – SMILE We all know how contagious a smile is. So ALWAYS smile, even when you don’t feel like it. 4 – TREAT YOUR BODY WELL We all have physical flaws and parts of our body that we do not like. I came across Blogilates. This site is jam packed with short exercise videos. I need to add (for those who dread exercising) that a lot of the videos are SHORT (5 minutes), fun and pretty simple to follow. You simply need to choose which part of your body needs attention. I guarantee that combined with a healthy diet (fresh fruits, vegetable and plenty of water) you will see some amazing changes in your body shape. When you start loving your shape you will feel so much more positive about yourself.
5 – GET A NEW HAIRSTYLE Don’t hide yourself behind your hair but instead start looking like you and show off those beautiful features. It’s amazing how a new hairstyle can make you feel. Choose a style that will heighten everything that is unique and interesting about you. It might be your cheekbones, jawlines, eyes or maybe your neck. A good hairdresser can do that pretty easily.
